Just who is MT Hawks?

by aiwf ~ November 20th, 2012

On Friday night October 12 at the AIWF Mid Atlantic Event Center, a gentleman approached the ring, very nervous and cautious, in an attempt to speak with Johnny Rebb.  Johnny Rebb, appointed by the AIWF Board of Directors to run the AIWF Mid Atlantic region, had been battling some demons as of late.  With the summer appearances of the Killbillies, one would say Mr. Rebb was distracted and went back to his drinking ways, but Johnny promised he had everything under control.  Enter this mysterious gentleman with a simple message, the Board had relieved Johnny Rebb of his duties as the Director of Operations for the AIWF Mid Atlantic, and had appointed MT Hawks as the new General Manager for the region. Mr. Rebb would be placed back at the commentary booth for future shows while the day to day operations would be handled by this new person.  Where did Hawks come from?  Why Hawks to run the AIWF Mid Atlantic?

Since Hawks has put his reigns on the AIWF Mid Atlantic, things are beginning to happen, and the fans seem quite happy with his actions.  Recently overheard on commentary with Scott Eiland on AIWF Mid Atlantic TV, MT Hawks was quoted as saying he was the voice of the fans, and he would bring them what they wanted, and so far, he has delivered.  Battling the Old School Mafia, this past Saturday night in Spencer VA he set the bar when he proclaimed that on Saturday December 1 that AIWF Original member JT Sledge and Dick Foley would do battle with Steve Niles (yet another Original, but one who turned his back on Sledge) and Old School Mafia member JD Anderson.  If Sledge and Foley wins, they get 5 minutes alone with Rick Deezel echoed throughout the building, as Deezel was furious over not just the match, but the stipulation as well.

MT Hawks had his hands in alot of things in Spencer this past Saturday night, such as bringing D-Nice back to action in a triple threat match with Hardbody Brock and Rocco Blaze, making JT Sledge vs Steve Niles happen, because let’s face it, these two are ready to riot, bringing in newcomer S12 The Psycho Assassin to battle the speechless Phil Stamper, and a main event with JD Anderson battling Dick Foley.  Although he may not have been able to control all of the actions inside of the ring, he delivered an incredible show for the fans, and left them wanting more.

MT Hawks, straight out of the AIWF Accounting offices to the helm of the AIWF Mid Atlantic, will have a lot to prove over the next few months, but we can assure you here at aiwfmidatlantic.com that if the past month is any sign of things to come, the partnership between MT Hawks & the AIWF Mid Atlantic will strive.
